When I did my first reading on my monitor it was almost 12.
Don't worry, I hit 13.3 once at 1 hour after a single bowl of cereal early doors
Apart from my first reading in the morning which is around 7 .
Last to go up, last to come down.
Get ready, it doesn't drop slow & linear, it'll stick at 7 for months then bang, mid 5s.
Mine stuck on low 5s for months & now is 4.3 every morning.
Low carb > rest B cells > weight loss > increase exercise > greater insulin sensitivity > lower BP > perfect A1c
