So I have one main question really. Since I want to avoid insulin spikes, and drinking whey protein spikes insulin (to hell) since it absorbs fast and acts fast. Would baking that whey powder into a bread or cake lower the insulin response? I have boxes full of whey and no way to use them otherwise.
I found this
https://queenketo.com/amazing-low-carb-keto-protein-bread-loaf/
And got inspired by it. Keep note though that the whey does contain some aspertamine would it be bad since I'm insulin resistant (non diabetic). Any opinions on this? I would love to be back in the gym making gains and need protein basically, eating lots and lots of meat is not economical where I live unfortunately
Also one take on it was to use casein protein instead any one had the experience?
