Hi,

I'm looking to get a Blood Glucose Meter; ideally I'd like one which connects to a computer or phone/ tablet and will allow me to see the overall trend. The Bayer Contour Next range look good for this, but I wondered if it is suitable/ overkill for T2?

I'm pretty open minded, so please let me know of any other suitable meters.

Cheers.

I use a Freestyle Lite from Abbots, it does what I need to do with Windows 7 / 10. There is no app for Android though.

Thanks, but I should have mentioned I would like it to work with iOS or macOS!

I have a One Touch Verio Flex. It pairs with my iPhone real well. The app is free and it keeps up with a 14 day or 30 day and a 90 day average. It automatically connects with my iPhone and even keeps a log for as far back as a year also puts the day and time that you do the reading in the log. Comes with a carrying case the whole works I really like it been using one since September 2016. I haven't had one problem with it yet other than changing the battery.
