Am I right in eliminating any all carbs?
Vimto Mixed Fruit Squash No Added Sugar and Robinsons Lemon Squash got Zero Carb in it. Does that mean Zero Sugar?
No Added Sugar does NOT mean sugar-free. There will be sugar of some sort in the product, just that the manufacturers haven't put in more, but they may have also added artificial sweeteners. I've never heard that caffeine is bad for diabetics, so I drink tea and coffee. But it's a problem finding good soft drinks. There's a new can now in Asda called Aspire, a soft drink in various flavours all sugar free.Which drinks are safe for people with diabetes. I don't have diabetes myself but I currently at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
People say drinks like no added sugar cordials are okay but am I being misled? Is Tea or Coffee okay or is the caffeine a risk factor?
