Hi,
I am using one touch device, but receives in 3 minutes, values from 172 154 142 this before my lunch????
Is this possible changes in a short time??
I am 74 years and no using tablets, because I lost a lot of weight, when round 100kg my value is in the morning always round 142.
What is the best device I can buy, which gives only one value. Not like now changing every time.
Thanks for your advices and information.
John

All devices can throw out inaccurate readings. They are only required to be within plus or minus 15% in values over 5.6mmol/l and within 0.83mmol/l in values under 5.6 before they can be marketed. And these requirements only have to be 95% of the time. The other 5% isn't regulated.

No meter will give the same result with multiple tests every time, even if you use the same drop of blood it can vary as they aren’t perfectly accurate.
