Hello all I have been a diabetic for a while (gestational and t2) I now have been told I have LADA. Can anyone advise which is the best meter to use for monitoring and recording results please. #fewrofhypo

Some are more accurate than others, and the ones with cheaper test strips seem to be less accurate. Has your nurse/doctor said you won't be able to get test strips on prescription?

If accuracy is not the most important issue, the SD Codefree meter is available here:
http://www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/blood_glucose_monitor_testing.htm

They have the cheapest test strips on the market.

There is a discount code if you buy 5 or 10 boxes, which brings the price down to about £5 for 50 strips.
5 packs 264086
10 packs 975833
