I dont know anything about the diets you mention but you need to reduce the portion sizes of your meals especially the carbohydrate content and test your blood glucose levels before and after every meal to fine tune your meals to your control. Most diets are not suitable for diabetics regardless of what their marketing says.
Have you read the Basic Information For Newly Diagnosed Diabetics post it lays out pretty much exactly what you need to do to control your diabetes.
