My wife like Cauldron Lincolnshire Vegetation Sausages and is not keen on the Linda McCartney frozen ones. The problem with these is that they are 7.3 gr of carbs per 2 sausages (100gm), so eating 3 of these is 11 gm of carbs. These are OK, but they do raise my blood sugars more than I like e.g. from 6.7 up to 9.5 for today's lunch.

I thought I would look at some other alternatives. The other options at Sainsbury's look to be too high carb for me.

I found Aldi Plant Menu vegetarian sausages were only 2.5 gm of carbs per 100g which is 1/3 of the Cauldron ones.

Which other supermarkets do people find are good for low carb ready meals?

Do you need to look for vegetarian options for you as well? My oh is vegetarian but I buy him different sausages to those I’m willing to eat. He is not diabetic though, and has amazing hba1c despite ridiculous carb ingestion, mostly because of ridiculous amounts of exercise. Sainsbury’s definitely do lower carb meat sausages.
