I'm going to try and speak to my DSN today as my tablets don't seem to be having enough of an effect. One reason for this might be (excuse my laymans knowledge) because either my insulin resistance is too high or my beta-cell production is too low.
What tests might I ask for that would confirm this? I've heard of the c-peptide test but I don't know which level this measures and is there a test that will tell me both? I've heard of something called a HOMA calculator and need a particular test result for it, but I don't know which one.
