You can look for this sign, but then the sign is for the index not the load, there is a difference in index & load, load being the better option so I've read. but I've not seen it on anything when I've been out. Other than that I'm not sure, other than the fiber content which would make digestion slower I believe.I find this interesting as When I shop I tend to compare packets and go for the lowest carb option. Is there a way when comparing packs to say which one has lower GL? Is there something I can look for when making my choice in future?

You won't find the true load because it depends what you are eating with it. The load is the total carbs eaten multiplied by the total of the the GI numbers eaten then divided by 100. Too much of a phaff for me I'm afraid.
