Which would you choose.

I find this interesting as When I shop I tend to compare packets and go for the lowest carb option. Is there a way when comparing packs to say which one has lower GL? Is there something I can look for when making my choice in future?

You can look for this sign, but then the sign is for the index not the load, there is a difference in index & load, load being the better option so I've read. but I've not seen it on anything when I've been out. Other than that I'm not sure, other than the fiber content which would make digestion slower I believe.

You won't find the true load because it depends what you are eating with it. The load is the total carbs eaten multiplied by the total of the the GI numbers eaten then divided by 100. Too much of a phaff for me I'm afraid.

It becomes second nature after a while.
I can look at a meal, and know how much I can safely eat.

(Lots of personal testing previously)

yes swede is the better choice, yet swede falls in the root veg of which we should eat sparingly as root veg is starch, yet swede brakes the starch rule in how it affects gloucose level. Sweet potato is a above ground so should be better but it's high load. STRANGE.

Not lot of difference for me.
I'd eat either, depending on the taste.

can only seem to upload on the app not on the main site for some reason.
Why the bottom may I ask.
because it is higher in energy value and I think energy is sugar in some form or another but then again, what do I know:D

I'm going with top.

Well the bottom one I had yesterday just 1 slice with 2 small sausages & after 2 hrs 7.9, yiks, the top I had today 1 slice with ham 1hr 6.3 , 2 hrs 5.6. Must test them again. but top wins in my book.
Oh yes the bottom is burgen linseed & chia & the top is Rowan Hill bakery, seeded wholemeal farmhouse, from lidl, has less carbs & more fiber than the burgen.
