Who are they?

He is American. Was starring in rom coms until he started acting in more serious films and famously lost 42lbs for one of his more recent films which was his best film to date.
 
my first guess would be Ryan Gosling.

Are the running shoes a clue ? Is she a sportswoman ??
 
I don't think she is easy to recognise but the only person I can think of when looking at the blurry pic is Mrs Blair.
