Who are they?

Good game good game. This one surprised me.

I'm going to stick my chin out here, Bruce Forsyth ?

RRB

It's Clark Gable would you believe it. I have seen some other pictures of him as a youth and he was not good looking. He could not get employed in the film industry at first because of his sticky out ears.

This has to be a giveaway because of the location:

Going on the clues alone I suggest Dolly Parton but I would not guess that from the photo.

Again, Squire Fulwood . . . . . .

Well done.

Ooops, sorry, wrong image.
That's the photo taken in her dressing room
prior to her replacing her partial denture,
just before going on stage.

Ah well, you can see it's Dolly, anyway.

Blimey, Squire Fulwood..... "Clark Gable", nothing like him,
however with your "good game good game".
I would have said Bruce Forsyth, as did RRB.

Good one

Stanley Baldwin, Yorksman.

Or are you giving us a false lead?

I didn't even mean that as a clue, I just stole Bruce's catch phrase because I actually think this is a good game.

You have to be careful don't you.

Hi WW, no, not a false lead, but it's Harold Wilson. Those were they days when you could walk right upto the door of no. 10 and the PM used to walk down to the tube station to go to Parliament.

Ah, understood Squire Fulwood.

He was a good subject to start us all guessing though.

You'll get used to my silly teasing Yorksman.

Good one all the same
These old black and white photos are good for making us scratch our heads.

btw, I remember watching news footage of ten Downing Street when you were free to walk up to the door.

Nowadays the only option for *walking right up to number 10 is to visit Madame Tussauds.
*Very sad sign of our times.

Two for the price of one this time. (same person)

Hoping to make lots of films.

His hope is coming to fruition.

Sorry izzi.....
My name is Connery, Shawn Connery, I know.

Nah, well done.... James Bond.

He was very successful in his career during the 80's
then fell from grace some years later.

And this him, (possibly) as he leaves the clink after a term inside.

But it "is" him.

Well done.
I'm sure it was him I briefly spotted on a chat show on telly last
week, looking the same as the lower image, much thinner.

And you've even won
yourself a new wee prize.

. . . . . . Bisto44
