Right, this cowran beastie now has an opinion but is too tim'rous to say it out loud ................. unless she had a connection with a quiz like show.

Thats true, it is the writer and not the monster.
I am getting carried away and missing Scotland but not the rain.
Roy.

You mean that lady from Countdown Squire? Carol Vorderman ?

I think it is Audrey Hepburn. ( With a dodgy wig on )

I think Izzzi knew this too....

No The Vord of the Board has Dutch ancestry so there is no Scottish connection. The lady I'm thinking of is Scottish and she appears to have kept that wig until she grew up.

Audrey Hepburn was not Scottish but Elke Brooks might be but I don't think it's her either.

In the stream of things Willie did not say she was Scottish, I think this person is so hot hot hot.
Roy

"Stream" of things... "Hot,hot, hot" (Burn)

You are a wag Izzzi......

These choc bars are good for bring lovely people back to life on their latest tv ad. their are even good to use for clues, yet maybe not to good to eat.

OK since I'm probably wrong I will be the first to crack. Well someone has to.

I base my choice on the wig .......and possibly the woollie too since she seems to like the one pearl one plain edging.

Hi, Squire Fulwood

Isla St Clair, lives in the next village Earls Barton. I will go ask her perhaps not. But your good.

If I am wrong with my guess i will eat my hat.

Roy. :)

That was a fine guess Squire. Very apt. Very "Wiggy"...

I am sticking with the lovely Audrey Hepburn.

Final answer.

Anyway, well done you two winners.

Next one, the one nobody will guess correctly, coming shortly.

willie.

Oh, btw, as far as I'm aware, the girl in the choc advert is not Audry, but a stand in lookalike.
Sorry if I burst the bubble.

On the subject of Who are They I just looked up the odds for who would be the new Dr. Who. There is a very long list but there is one person conspicuous by her absence and that is Alex Kingston.

There was an episode starring David Tennent a few years ago where Alex Kingston appeared and helped him out and criticised Dr. Who for having the old unmodified sonic screwdriver. Then she went back to wherever. The viewer was left with the belief that this was a future Dr. Who and they have left her off the odds list totally.

So while we have five minutes ....who's it gonna be? They announce it on BBC this evening so this cannot run for a long time and interfere with the fun on here.

Furthermore I would just like to say that now that I know it is Audrey Hepburn and I can still read all the clues I still can't see the connection. What is the Scottish connection, I think she was born in Belgium, lived in England and then went to the States.

I would not have got that one in a million years.

Hi Squire fulwood :)

Dr Who

With the recent Scottish things going on regarding clues like Burns etc;

I have got to put a 10p bet on Peter Capaldi (born in Glasgow) as the new Dr Who.

However I would prefer to put £100 on Alex Kingston. I think she could be very good.

Dr Roy.
