Who are they?

His mother was a respected artist who made
a huge name for herself in the 1940s and '50s
His father was a respected artist, sculptor,
and poet of critical acclaim.

His name is in the title of a song,
and he's well known to all of us.

Many years ago I was walking home when a car stopped in front of the car that was badly parked and that my two daughters were in, and chatting as they do.This other driver got out his car full of rage and was having a pop at my daughters for being badly parked.
I come all over with adrenalin and became this famous person. That driver soon disappeared with fear.
My daughters will never forget their 5 minute hero that suddenly turned up was their Dad.
Good old memories.

None of the clues mean anything to me but his face looks like Robert de Niro. I am not even sure I got the spelling right. 2 out of 10 must try harder.

Yes I just turned up out of the blue,It was scary as the person was quite big and mouthy. I really think he thought I was some kind of nutter. luckily he backed off, then to be honest my daughters took over and calmed me down and back to earth. It was one of those moments all dads would love to experience and always boast about if you know what I mean.

I think if ever our "young" get threatened , the tiger/tigress in us can come out to defend and protect .
