The car could be another ford, "ford 68b cabriolet" I also thought there was a little look of a short wheelbase Duesenberg. the car in the drive way is a Sadan.

I am in the self imposed sin bin for breaking my cardinal rule about not operating a keyboard while under the influence.

Some months ago there was a night of the long knives on the forum after which a number of senior members resigned and went off to another place to run their own web site. Threads were deleted after threats were made. I was not involved in this.

Some days ago it seemed to be happening again. A lively OP opened multiple threads and argued inconsistently. I perceived this person as indistinguishable from a troll. People started sniping at each other in the confusion. Being as tired as a newt I made a comment or two and other contributors started shooting back. Two people resigned from the board. Considering what happened last time I thought it best to back off until things calmed down.

Comments were made about the dangers of offering newbies advice in case they took it and hurt themselves so I stopped doing that also.

While in my self imposed exile the dispenser from the surgery phoned and asked the batch number of my test strips since they had a recall on them. They were OK but she said that there is a note on my file saying that I am not to be supplied with any more since I no longer need to test.

Can't please anyone.

That is so true Squire Fulwood,
I have read some of these threads that does tend to wind us up.
Somehow admin must try to keep everything as best to normal as they can.

I once made a comment to someone which was read as offensive, when I looked at what I had written I noticed that I missed out a few words then realized how stupid I was. ( I have a good excuse but that does not it better for readers )

Got to be fair, I do respect what you say on other threads, so keep up your good work, also your wit is very important as it keeps us on our toes.

I have done it again "make make make it better" I dont recognize these errors until I am told, and spellcheck sometimes drops me in it as well.

Sadly the bun fight had already started and I suspect the OP did it on purpose. It was like announcing to a bunch of workers that their overtime had been cut. Loads of opinions.
