Who are they?

Is it maybe the 'Norwegian Lady' who was the wife of Captain Jorgenson who died in a ship along with a lot of the crew. A statue was erected and it was known as the 'Norwegian Lady'

The Norwegian Lady statue became a solid bond between Virginia Beach and Moss.
 
Zola, good work on the research, however, I have to apologise if I have misled you by calling her a Lady.

Is she a 'Lady' because she was the 1st man to become a 'Lady' ??

Is 'she' a transvestite ??
