When I read his Wiki page I was astonished to see that he played with The Portsmouth Sinfonia. I studied music at school and listened to a lot of classical music and this album tickled me as it sounded like bad renditions of popular classics. Drove my Mum mad but it literally
had me in tears.... They were either experts in their chosen instruments and played something new to them or were complete novices.
And if you can bear it..........
I have listened to the whole album this morning which I haven't heard for over 40 years. What I find most comforting is the cracking of the vinyl records.
You just don't get that anymore do you....

Yep. Burt it is Opal Well done. This pic was in Cosmo just after the film Deliverance was aired. It was scorned on by the film producers as thought it would effect folk going to the cinema.
