Who has symptoms

Tired and listless all the time leading up to diagnosis but that's it.

I'm not sure I'm type 2 at all I assumed if I was I would have problems but I don't was diagnosed 9 months ago

Why would you assume you would have problems as a type 2? If your glucose levels are under control there is no reason why you should have problems. If you were type 1 and not on meds you most certainly would have problems. After 9 months you would probably be dead.

6.8% ? That is high enough for a diagnosis.

I remember you from when I was first diagnosed...around Christmas time. Have you been for your 3 month review yet?

No never been asked to go back. It dropped to 6.5 in a week as was re tested all I did was cut out sugar. But never felt I'll no symptoms nothing

Phone your doc and get a check up. You are due one. Just because you don't feel bad, doesn't mean you are not diabetic. Best of luck.

Never had a single symptom until put on medication.
GP tested and tested and tested until they got a "positive" result after I had chest infection problems.
Not at all convinced that this explosion of type 2 is that and not some as yet unidentified virus or something.

Was taken off the medication for better part of a year because of complications with the chest problems - ALL symptoms disappeared.

Stuck back on last month and its dry mouths; terrible stomach upsets; mood swings; catching every cold going. I have no faith what so ever in the medical profession; bunch of leech wranglers

No nor me 2 docs said I haven't got it and one diabetic nurse said I have got it. They can't even agree on it lol so I'll just plod on till someting happens I guess

Exact same thing they did to me; rotten chest infection - So naturally 4 tests for diabetes? 3 of which were negative; the last positive and a month later its a bag of meds. Feel 100 times worse on medication but thats okay apparently? Never been as sick as when I've been on the meds; its destroyed any trust in the health system all they're interested in is back handers from the drug industry as far as I can see. No treatment just medication.
