Because weight loss is so much more about diet than exercise?@Type-2-Havent-A-Clue .
Why the gym reference?
"Who needs the gym?" .. I would have thought it was fairly obvious.. gyms aren't necessary for weight loss...So why the gym reference?
Diet is necessary for weight loss.

NoSo are we saying that being healthy is purely based on how much we weigh?
Sensible like Eatwell? the one that has produced so much obesity and T2 diabetes or that keto "fad" that reverses it you mean?Well obviously a sensible diet. Not a fad diet.
There are many many reasons for exercise such as increased bone density, reduce risk of cv problems, mental well being, even weight gain for some, ...
But exercise does not have to mean gym. It can mean walking, dancing, gardening, housework, ...
However, gyms seem to have a bad rep. No one forcing anyone to go but I find them great, visit 4 or 5 times a week and get fed up with the implication that they are dull.
That said... @Type-2-Havent-A-Clue well done on your weight loss.

Last week I weighed in at 20st 8lb
This week... 19st 9lb!
I had to double check but it’s all legitimate!
But the OP , from past posts has made dramatic changes to food type and intake.
So why not title the thread
