Hi All. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year?

I have really come to the end of my tether now , and I really don't know what to do! I've been type 1 for 8 years , but for the last year or so I've been TIRED and I mean TIRED! It's really getting to the point that I'm arguing with people because they think I'm lazy , and actually , before diagnosis I wasn't , I'd work a 70 hour week happily with no problems etc. The last year or so though I sleep a lot , I can go to bed at 10pm and sleep all the way through until 12pm , without getting up to pee or drink etc. My A1c is the best it's ever been , I've done DAFNE and carb count , my diet isn't brilliant , but it's not the worst. Anybody have any ideas on what could be happening ? I'm really struggling here and need some help

Thanks

Have you had all the other blood tests associated with tiredness
Vit d,iron deficiency, thyroid and discussed with doctor. Sometimes you can be at the very low range whilst being within the normal parameters of the test. Some docs will treat the symptoms as if there was a low level normal result, others would not.

I agree with Brett that you should have some bloods taken to rule out the obvious.

As already said you need a blood test to look at iron levels and also throyid levels both these cause issues your experiencing.
