Any ideas why, it doesn't seem to matter whether I have high or low carb, it happened after a v. low carb avocado salad today just like it happens if I have a carby blip meal. I've tested my bloods and it doesn't seem have a bearing - could be high , low or "normal".

Am I just old and tired and fed up and in dire need of a mega lottery win so I can lounge my days away or does anyone recognise anything diabetes related?

Hi VioletViolet - Have you had your thyroid function and vitamin levels checked recently? Something as simple as low Vitamin D can cause crushing fatigue. The eating part may just be your body having digest your food, rather than it necessarily being any particular food involved

Yes all bloods are fine including iron at the moment. I have been very anaemic.

It could be metabolic or hormonal.
I have read a lot about the female species doing this!
But a lottery win would cheer anyone up!

Ask your GP, to recommend other tests or a referral to a specialist.
