Is there anything we as a collective set of people can do to try and get the price of these tabs down?
What about contacting the companies and asking why they are so expensive.
Type 2s are being blamed theirselves for their condition through eating badly but it is not always the case. You hear on the news of more younger people getting diabetise through their bad eating habits but what about those that don't have bad eating habits who get diabetise?
If we as type 2s don't start to bring our BS down and control the way we eat its said that eventually we will end up on insulin and many other complcations being on insulin we then get our tabs on prescription. The cost of insulin and other things through not controlling your diabetics whilst type 2 surely must out weigh the cost of the tabs.
As you are just relying on the meds to keep you BS down how do you know what food has a bad effect on you that then increase you BS and they then increase your prescription and more cost in the end to the NHS.
I haven't tested for a few weeks now and am really worried I did order some tabs from a company that was recommended on this forum which were a bit cheaper but they were out of stock. I do plan now that I have retired to go and plead with my doctor to give me tabs - with things getting tighter on the NHS I don't hold out much hope.
I haven't tried Ebay but this now seems to be the next step.
