Whelks,winkles... All crustaceous seafood except prawns. Can't do crab.lobster or scallops.
Don't like the way they are killed and cooked. Save our Scallops. SOS !!!
Also HATE evaporated milk.
What is wrong with this site tonight??

It is taking AGES to retrieve a post and AGES to post...

I have checked my new super doopah fibre optic speed and it's 32mg per second which is the fastest it's ever been, ( Thanks to Talk Talk... Best thing I ever did ) So it isn't my speed as all the other sites I visit are nice and fast.

What is going on ??

Anyone else experiencing this?

I clicked on post reply and it took nearly 15 seconds to get here. I think I will pull some more weeds from the garden and wait for things to sppeeeedddd uuuppppppp.

Oh Good.

I'm not the only one then...

Annoying as this is my favourite site now.

Slow is not the word, can brew a cup of tea in the time its taking to load a thread.

Yeah I couldn't get on earlier.
It's broke.
The ADMIN need to go in the control room and change the sparadoxic filter as it will have overheated in this weather.
Good idea to stand some ice next to the new one in a bucket overnight and then re-tune the carbonix mega MK2 version 3 forum connection zipwad multiplier and it should be fine.
If I can help in any way don't hesitate to ask.

Here's a proppet explanode about whitwet's ginging in toblode.
It's the hormodes..

Seems OK at the moment but haven't been on since early evening, it has been hit & miss of late and there's been a few threads discussing the matter.

Slow here - server probably needs a reboot and a defrag. OR, it's latest tactics to put off the kitchen spammers ;)

Last night my Freeview box kept freezing.

I blamed the weather.... Maybe the weather's making this site slow up?

Or it could be too many folk posting....

Nah the server should be able to handle a lot of stuff.
It might actually be doing a big back up of itself.
The server isn't a suburbia server is it in someones garage or cupboard under the stairs?

Yay !!

It's back !!

Nice and fast.

Nice one.....

I have a HUGE fan which is on from the moment I get up to the moment I go to bed.

It is a free standing fan. And very BIG....

I bought 2 from a TV shopping channel a couple of years back.

I have 1 spare. Pay me the courier fee and it's yours....

They forgot to pay the Gas Bill.

willie. :D

We do regularly reboot the server and keep the database optimised to avoid problems with loading. Often, it's the search function that seems to knock a lot of forums about as they're quite server intensive. I'll have a chat with our data administrator and see if there's any further ways to optimise the site.

It's professionally hosted

You're all bonkers!
No one told me my diabetes would send me bonkers!!
Thank you Zola but I have enough fans to fly this house to a cooler place should it get much worse.
The sun comes up and bakes the back of my house goes over the top and then bakes the front and the fans end up blowing hot air about.
So stuffy.
I do feel a slight cool breeze but am still sweating. I might have sweated a stone off by the end of the week at this rate so it aint all bad.
