I have a strange problem which I'm a bit reluctant to talk about, because you might all think I'm crazy, but here goes.

For the past week I've been getting a sensation in my hands, arms, back and neck that feels like there is something crawling under my skin. There is absolutely nothing there but the feeling is very peculiar.

So am I going mad or could it be something to do with my T2 diabetes? I'm on Victoza and Metformin.

Thanks,

J

I had that and it turned out I had kidney problems. So I wouldnt dismiss it as being a diabetes thing, get your doctor to check it out.

Hi there

I used to get that horrible crawling feeling before I started insulin in December. Sometimes just down my arms, or legs. Sometimes across my back aswell and over my head...there was no pattern in line with glucose levels really,. I thought I was going mad and it really made me feel horrible.

I only get it very occasionally now, sometimes when my glucose in the high teens and then I take a correctional insulin unit, I get a temporary crawling feeling within an hour.

My kidney function tests are fine, although I'm at the lower end of the vit B12 range so take supplements. I don't think it's that though as I had before I took the supplements.

Is this something that's just started? How is your control?
