Hi Catherine, don't know if it's me but I cannot find exactly how to sign up, can you help?, thanks Deb x

Thanks for the second link Catherine, I also read the first link and wondered where to submit my details.

I have also signed up. ^_^ Always good to be able to help the cause!

I have finally got round to signing up also.
Like to think my help may help others too !

I received a phone call today they said, they are going to send me some info in the post and will be in touch soon.

Registered my details.
Wonder what they will do to us?

"Thank you for sending your details to the Help Diabeates campaign. Since the campaign began in October 2011, we’ve had a fantastic response from people who have diabetes and are interested in taking part in NHS research. We had a lot of coverage across local and national media that has resulted in a big increase in demand, with a lot of people registering in a short space of time.

While this is great news for us, it means our call centre now has a backlog of responses to work through which means it is taking longer to contact you. However, please don’t be put off as we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

Thanks again for being a part of Help Diabeates.

So there may be a slight delay.

This is the reply I got applying today

Hi all
I received a phone call today and had a very long chat with the lady, she stated that I will receive some information in the post. she was very shocked when I told her that I have been a type 1 diabetic for 50 years.

50years!?!? You don't look old enough gollymax!

I have a telephone appointment on December 2nd.

Hope you didn't snap all the best opportunities to be a guniea pig for some exotic new diabetes drug gollymax

Hi
I love your comment about the age in fact I am 55 years (56 in may 2012) and if you were looking at the pictures my wife is 54 years, we have 6 grown up children and 11 grand children.
