Winter and its effect on blood glucose level

To take it to one extreme the Eskimos have a long winter. Those that live traditionally do not have crops or access to supermarket foods.
But they subsist on fish - oily, and containing vitamin D. (plus, some raw whale flesh which contains vitamin C).
Of course I am not saying live and eat like an Eskimo but the example of more oil/fat in winter makes sense.

For me I've got a good summer result for hba1c
