Hi,

I don't know if other woman have the same trouble as me but I always get cravings for carbs when its that time of the month. I just constantly want to stuff my face!!!! That can be an issue with Very low carbing, I try to tame the beast within with a little 72% dark chocolate, then I might try a little low carb microwave cake, then I move on to cheese or anything else I have in the house! Luckily I don't tend to have carby or sugary things in the house. But often it means I devour a whole bar of chocolate rather than the 2 pieces it should have been (along with half the contents of the fridge). I can be sat there feeling uncomfortably full and still be craving! This usually last a couple of days

How do others cope?

I have an implant which means I don't normally get monthlys, which in turn means I only get monthlys once the impant is running out (I think). Having it replaced tonight so fingers crossed, the cravings will almost disappear! :P

I struggle with this one too! A wee sugar free hard boiled sweet gets me through the craving for something sugary but not found anything as yet to cut down on the 'I want to eat everything that's not nailed down craving' lol. Good luck, I hope the cravings stop or you find something to curb them :)

I suffer with cravings every month. It's a nightmare. Anyone who has never had a craving has no idea how all consuming it is. When I give in and get the inevitable bg rise I feel disgusted with myself. Have tried repeatedly telling myself it only lasts a few days (long, long days!) and have corrupted Kate Mosses mantra of " nothing tastes as good as feeling thin feels" (what a lot of nonsense) to "nothing tastes as good as good control feels". Well, when you're desperate you'll try anything I guess:lol: Another few days from now it will all start again. Lucky me:(

Yes, I also suffer from cravings monthly but it's chocolate for me and I am at that time of the month at the moment. So far I've ignored them each month with great difficulty but it doesn't help having to do the kids lunchbox each morning and putting a penguin or a twix finger in it.
