Worried about low hb1ac

I posted few days ago about my Latest hb1ac which came back at 28 diabetic team thought it was wrong and looked through my blood sugars on my monitor which showed that i have good control and wasnt hypoing enough to have the hb1ac of 28. They redone the test which has now cant back at 29 i just dont understand it. Im starting to get worried that sonething isnt right i am 17 weeks pregnant i have been on iron tablets for 7 weeks and although hemoglobin has came up to 10.8 im still classes as anemic. I feel like my diabetic team want an explanation from me but i dont know what is going on my average blood sugars on my monitor is 7 so it just doesnt add up. Sorry for the rantni am just getting myself stressed out about it. Has anyone had sonething similar happen or have any insight thanks

Anaemia can sometimes skew the A1c results.

Yes, as Guzzler says, anaemia can give false HbA1c results.

You can ask your healthcare team to research the Fructosamine test instead, and see if they can run one for you.
