I was silly and had a large yorkshire pudding last night with mince and potatoes and was 8.6 this morning....did i deserve that ?

I have lately been around 7.5 in the mornings ?

Think you got away lightly if that was all it went up to?!!! I reckon I’d hit double figures after that, you possibly did as well so maybe try to avoid in future. It’s hard though I know.

Treat it as part of your education. Be warned, if I go off piste it can take my body up to 3 days to get back on track.

I can manage Yorkshire puddings if I make them with lots of eggs, bread flour and cream diluted with water - the family say that they are better than my mother's recipe which is quite something.
I avoid potato though - I use swede, turnip, cauliflower, any low carb vege as an alternative. Swede, boiled then baked and mashed is slightly more fiddly than potato, but it seems worth the extra effort when on the fork.
