Worry for 2nd HbA1c

Still waiting to hear from diabetic nurse whether she wants to see me. Originally was
going to have bloods three monthly but have feeling this will be increased to six monthly. My eating hasn't been perfect recently but the little small changes have stuck with me. I've getting used to saying No to the sweets/chocolates at work which will make it easier as Christmas treats start appearing.

Brilliant! Well done. My diabetic nurse is fond of saying "It doesn't mean you can't have some cake at your son's wedding". I, too fall off the wagon occasionally. The danger is that you get to thinking that you've fallen off, so you might as well enjoy it and go mad. To be honest, I have "off days" where I eat like a greedy non-diabetic. Not good, and I should cut them out, but you've got to enjoy life occasionally and be determined to get back on that horse the next day. In some ways, there's a sense of achievement in doing that. So long as the "off days" aren't too frequent....
