A couple of months ago, I received a letter from my GP, informing me that my generic prescription for Metformin has been changed to Yaltormin. I went to collect my prescription yesterday and was told by the Pharmacist that this has been out of stock at the manufacturer for over a month, with no date given for when it will be in stock. I contacted my GP for another prescription this morning and mentioned that Glucophage which was dispensed previously with no supply issue is in stock. Had anyone had experience of the problem, I have encountered?
