Could someone please tell me the carbs in Yams.

According to Lilly's Daily Meal Planning Guide (that was given to me by the diabetes dietician), 1/2 cup of plain yams equals 15 gr of carbohydrates, in other words counts as 1 carbs serving.

Alot more carbs in yams than that. 100 grams of yam = 27 carbs.
