So saw Professor Amiel, today at Kings, pump & blood glucose machine down loaded. Said I thought my Basal's needed changing and she agreed, so set up a holiday and now have a work one. She was very happy with how I've got and that I started to make basal changes. But told me I needed to be a bit more aggressive on the changes. But the ultimate crunch was my 1ac at 6.6%. YAY feel so happy.

My daughter has made me a loom band in 2 colours of my pump skin. So it matches my pink set and my pink, purple pump skin. As a reward :) for my good work.

Congratz happiness is catching.

COOL new's  Julie

No wonder you are so HAPPY :joyful:
Well done 'you' - worth the hard work you have put in - eh ?

These loom bands are all the range and so popular with the young
ones these days .
Even my granddaughter is into them and she is only 5 .
Yours sounds great matching up with your pump skins .
Sounds so really on trend too .

Thank you guys. My daughter made it as a surprise for me tonight. My daughter loves them, keeps her of the computer.

6.6% is a good a1c and doesnt need to lower to be well. Its important to also retain a degree of hypo awareness and an a1c lower than 6.5% will alter that awareness. A good reason to argue for cgm me thinks.

Really pleased for you Julie :)
