Hi everyone hope ur all well?
I went for my review with the nurse yesterday my hb1ac has gone from 43 to 46 but i believe thats still good? But over the past yr my colestoral has gone from 42-45-49 and now 53 so they want to put me on statins. Is my colestrol raised because of my lchf diet? And is this the normal progression for us type 2s? My ldl was 3.2

As for your cholesterol, I don't do LCHF so I'll let others comment on that aspect.

My cholesterol went down but that is just me. Other people have had other results. YMMV it is very individual.

What do u eat them? Do you need to watch your carbs?

I'm a T1 @amanda19640 , in theory, I should be able to eat whatever I want and inject enough insulin to cover the carbs and I know 2 people (in the real world) who do just that. In practice however, I've found my BG easier to control with a moderate carb intake of around 120-150g per day. This is too high to be classed as LC.
