I was just wondering if everyone was aware of this scheme. In theory, if you have had any side effects from a drug, your GP will add the fact to the Yellow Card database. I get the impression that it doesn't always get done, I don't want to use the word rarely because I don't know, but I have my suspicions.
You don't have to be a doctor, members of the public can add their concerns.

It isn't limited to drug side effects, it also covers medical devices, counterfeit and defective medicines.
I was using it to look at statin side effects, at least some get reported.
