Hi all! I looooove yoghurts but they are quite high in sugar. Are there any brands that are more diabetic friendly?

Also almond milk soy milk full fat? What's the best?

I buy greek yoghurt (5g cho per 100ml) and add my own toppings. Berries, nuts, or my current fave is milled flaxseed.

Lactose free milk is around half the carbs of normal milk and tastes no different, Natural yogurt is also low but don't buy the flavored ones.

Fage natural greek yogurt (full fat) yummmmmmmy :) and not too carby

milk i pretty much cut out i only had it on cereal which i never have now and i drink green tea with lemon or cranberry so dont have it in my tea anymore either

I used to use Eredanous Full fat from Lidl then got a yoghurt maker and now make my own, adding flavourings as required.
(Lakeland plastics do a good one (9W consumption & ready in ~8 hrs)

waitrose sell a very good sheeps milk yogurt and a goats milk yogurt, both <5g carbs per 100g - an altrnative for those who prefer to avoid cows milk.

I've seen discussions about yogurt a few times and no one mentions Alpro (is that the right spelling?). The natural one has 2.6g carbs per 100g.

- is that ok or is it really evil for some reason and I didn't know?
