Hi everyone.

We are looking for contributors to be part of a feature on BBC Radio 1Extra to share their experience of what it’s like to be a BAME (Black, Asian and Minority's Ethnic) young person in the UK living with type 1 diabetes. Tipetoo - BAME is a term long used in the UK to refer to black, Asian and minority ethnic people.
 
I'm pleased to say there has been some response to this, but the opportunity remains open for others.
 
Let’s just reflect for a moment - perhaps if those saying they had never heard it were in that target demographic it would make sense....
