Hi. I've been T2 since 2010 and originally was put on Metformin and Giclazide. I have been on insulin for two years now and has made me feel better than the oral meds. I couldn't tolerate Metformin due to bowel surgery and resection and Gliclazide did nothing for my HbA1cs. Gliclazide can cause hypos so it's good to check BMs. Best wishes.
