Hi,

My wife is a type 1 diabetic and is on the Mylife YPSO insulin pump.

Her reservoir is about to run out and she has none left. The delivery was meant to come on Friday and then Saturday but parcelforce failed to deliver it.

She is going to run out soon and is stressed and doesn’t know what to do. Or does anyone know where we could get a replacement?

All helplines she has tried are closed and she doesn’t know what to do if she has to go back and use the insulin pen / background insulin if she has to take the pump off.

Any help would be very grateful.

Thanks

James

Hi JamesP1989
If your wife is asked to attend a local hospital, it will greatly help if you take her medical details with her (NHS number and usual hospital number) so that the process of obtaining insulin is speeded up.
I have never had experience with pumps, but I would suggest taking it all with you and they will be able to answer your question. I hope all goes smoothly. Let us know how you get on.

This information may be helpful to you @Jamesp1989 & other members that may be reading the thread. I’ve used this service in the past when I forgot to take my sons meds on holiday with us (not diabetes related) it was Saturday night at midnight when I realised and there was a prescription waiting for me at the local pharmacy at 10 am the next morning

Edited to add a working link
