Zafatek is a once a week oral diabetes treatment ! ONCE A WEEK!
When I lived in Japan before returning to the UK just prior to the C-Flu outbreak I was prescribed it.
Diabetes treatment in Japan included a monthly trip to have your bloods done. During which they do not just test for one or two markers they do a full blood panel. Same day results in larger GP's within Tokyo.
During my treatment Zafatek had a marked impact on my blood sugars showing impressive reductions in only three months with no noticeable side affects and since it was approved in 2015 it has a record of being a well tolerated treatment.
Of course on my return to the UK and showing my doctor the monthly progress graphs, I tried to get it prescribed. Not available in Europe !!!
This leads me to conclude that the best treatments globally for many common ailments are denied patients because of red tape obstacles and the desire within Big Pharma to preserve their profit rather than provide the best clinical outcome for their patients.
I know for example that in the United States, insulin is an outrageously high price for no other reason than profiteering.
I do believe that RFK is trying to address that issue, not before time I say!
