“I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago; I didn’t have any of the general symptoms so was very surprised. I wanted to avoid being on medication so I attended classes and carried out some research. On the Low Carb Program I’ve lost 35lbs/16kg, and my blood glucose levels have significantly improved as have my cholesterol and triglyceride levels. I’ve learnt lots of new food alternatives to include in my daily meals. I’ve ditched the pasta sheets in lasagne for aubergine or courgette strips and I actually prefer it!”
