    same food different result????????????

I have a quick question. My FBG is usually 7.0 - 8.0. I often (few times a week) have oats for breakfast, cook them with water and splenda and pour a little milk over at the end,(few spoonfuls). I actually like it like this and have always made my porridge with water not milk. today FBG was...

    Something else!!!

oh hope you feel better soon. UTI' s are horrible. I had a raging uti shorty after diagnosis and put it down to high blood sugars giving the bugs a better chance of growing. I had never had one before, or since, but it was awful. Keep yourself hydrated, and the trimethropin they put you on...

DUK survey today about keeping diabetes a secret.

Hi I was just reading the DUK survey out today about keeping your diabetes a secret and wondered just how many of us have done that. I have certainly done so in some respects. Whilst my immediate family know and my work colleagues, I have certainly not told my wider family. This is because of...

Do you find that not many people understand T2?

peoples misconceptions and lask of unerstanding scares me to be honest. Although I dont understand it all myself and often find myself confused and I am living with it day to day, so I dont expect other people to understand everything, but a basic understanding of it would be good. I forgot to...
