Quick question - lancet colours

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I have two gauges of lancet with my Abbott Freestyle Freedom Lite; blue (thinner) and grey (a bit thicker).

My new Caresens Dual has green lancets.

Is there any consistency in colour coding, or is "pretty" the main driver?

Google has not been my friend.

I plan to stick (ouch) with my usual one if possible.

The new one looks very space age but the old one works for me.

The lancing device that came with my Freestyle Freedom Lite went into the garbage bin,

I prefer my Accu-Chek Multiclix as it has six lancets in the drum, instead of the single use twist the top of lancets.

Although some of us {cough} allegedly don't change the lancet after every test.

In my "supply" of lancets, there is also a pouch of multicoloured ones. I can't say I have ever been too concerned about the colour I use.

I've

still got about 290 of the original 300 I bought 22 months ago... ahem..
Ahem. Me too. Lol. Maybe not quite as many
I don't use a device. I just stick the lancet in by hand. When it hurts or I don't get blood I get a new one.

Mine are all 34? Gauge and 5 different colors but same gauge.

I use accucheck mobile which comes with the multiclix device. When mine broke accucheck replaced it FOC. they just wanted the old one back (and sent a prepaid envelope for it)
