I have usually been having a fried egg on a slice of toast for breakfast because its filling, cheap and easy, but my last diabetes test came back higher so I realise I've really got to cut right down on carbs now, but breakfast is the meal I'm finding most challenging. (Dinner is usually steamed veg and protein). I'm on a tight budget - does anyone have ideas for a filling breakfast that's healthy and easy and won't break the bank (ideally under £1.50)?
