Would nuts be any good to you (hoping you are not allergic ) ?

Yes nuts are good. But they aren't much low carb aren't?

Some nuts are higher than others and I suppose it would depend on how many you eat, I'm not a snacker myself.

From diabetes daily :-
Most nuts are low carbs. Many of the nuts on the list get half of their carbs from fiber (which has little to no impact on blood sugars). The carbs in one ounce are listen in parenthesis. Check the serving size on your package.

  • Almonds and almond butter (2.3g)
  • Brazil Nuts (3.5g)
  • Cashews and cashew butter (8.7g)
  • Chestnuts (7.84g)
  • Coconut (4.6g)
  • Flax Seeds (7.6g)
  • Hazelnuts (4.7g)
  • Madadamia Nuts (3.9g)
  • Peanuts and peanut butter (4.6g)
  • Pecans (3.9g)
  • Pine Nuts (3.7g)
  • Pistachios (7.9g)
  • Pumpkin Seeds (3.8g)
  • Sesame Seeds and sesame butter (7.3g)
  • Sunflower Seeds and sunflower butter (6.7g)
  • Walnuts (3.9g)
Seeds, like sunflower and pumpkin are nice.

Why can't you change it? All most odd..

Can I also have dried berries or other fruits for a bit of sweeteness but without carbs? What can I have?

Or maybe there are cocoa covered stuff with minimum carbs?

Why do you need a snack in the car? Is it a very long journey?

Because I need to have snacks with me

Walnuts are and a small pack of peanuts can vary enormously but there's definitely ones that are under 10g for a sizeable bag!!

Go to a shop?

Only if you don't live in the same world as me?

I have now officially lost my will to live.

I find having bottled water in the car really helps between meals. Schweppes do one with lemon or lime taste, but no calories/carbs - I hate drinking tap water. Also very low cal mints, eg. TicTacs, just help to stave off the hunger pangs. But I also have nuts to eat, with just a little dried fruit (but beware as this can be very sugary).

Nope, you can't do that. I'm absolutely sure that you must keep that will for the questions yet to come.:D
