Drink lots of water and try to avoid further heavier carbs for the day. A stroll to burn off some of the sugar could be useful too, if you can manage it.

Be mindful of eating choices tomorrow as sometimes the sort of experience you have had can lead to cravings for a few days, if you haven't been low-carb adjusted for very long.

Water, water, water. Water is your friend.

Hi @lindiloo62 Lovely gesture by your daughter to bring you out  Does your daughter know you have diabetes ? I'm not sure what you can do now, are you T1 or T2 ? I know others here will have better advice than me, but I'd say drink water, go for a walk and be good for the rest of the week ;)

Agreed - loads of water, walk if poss. Correction insulin dose - I was told double if over 16mmol. Hope you enjoyed your afternoon & don't worry.

Thanks guys I had a total panic xx

Panic, stress and worrying won't help either!
Anxiety is just as bad to your blood glucose levels!

Try and destress, go to that place where you relax.
I find being alone with my music helps!
A nice walk with the dog for about half an hour is great and brings your levels down. Of course I have my headphones on!
