Thanks Stallen......are all these zero carbs as well ?Seems pretty expensive, Holland and Barret stock a similar konjac product by eat water, very often in the buy 1 and buy for a penny sale.
Also Chinese stores often stock similar just ask for konjac noodles, my local does them for 99p standard konjac noodles and £1.59 for the very fine noodles.
Also some Fulton freezers shops stock the eat water konjac lasagna sheets for 50p.
Also Morrison stock konjac noodles called naked noodles. Naked being the brand £1.99

It's an a very odd flavourless substance in noodle and spaghetti style it's ok but the rice leaves a lot to be desired in consistently it's very jelly like in texture I use the rice blended and added to soups it helps to bulk it out, I'm a vegetarian so it's been a useful addition to my limited range of food when doing the LCHF diet.Thanks....So I guess my next question is.....is it a good substitute for pasta and rice ?![]()
Thanks for the feedback Snapsy.....I will give them a go. Like the recipe tooI buy the noodles when they're on offer at Holland & Barrett - I swing between three different brands which are essentially all the same, but a different one seems to be on offer each time! I wouldn't pay full price for them as they work out terrifically expensive.
I do a big wok of noodles every now and again with loads and loads of veggies and pork/chicken/prawns/whatever, chillies, ginger, soy sauce and some stock and coriander etc - the only carbs I count in that meal are the veg, and it works out very low in carbs.

Need rinsing well as they smell kind of funny straight out of the pack
The Zero ones (I think it's those) are quite a bit fatter and rather a challenge to chew elegantly - I snip them with scissors for ease of eating
Expensive - but often on offer
I'd recommend giving them a try, even if it's just the once! They have no effect at all on my blood sugar level.
