Forgive me for asking so many questions as a new forum member but has anybody used low carb smoothies as an alternative to the optifast shakes as used in the Newcastle diet , i have been looking at some low carb recipes specifically aimed at diabetics and to be honest they look more interesting than milk based shakes and look to contain more of the nutrients that i would need in a normal days requirement , as i already have a blender it would probably be more convenient and i wouldn't have to use milk as required in most meal replacement shakes .
Any thoughts please ?
