Has anyone tried a pancreatic enzyme supplement to aid digestion?
Pancreatic enzyme supplements are pharmaceutical agents given to replace some of the function of the pancreas in patients who have impaired pancreatic function. They contain enzymes including lipase, protease, and amylase. The supplement is given as pills taken with meals in order to aid in the digestion of the food eaten at that time.never heard of it. Info?
That has answered all the questions I had. keep on rocking LedzepttHi Petepontiac,
I need to take Creon (enzyme replacement) with all food (even snacks) as I'm a T3c being treated as a T1. My pancreas is dead or dying, so doesn't produce the enzymes to digest food.
I don't have problems with Creon.
There's some basic info here: https://www.creon.com/CFPatients/FAQs
